My Name is Rick Malatesta. I reside in Millville, New Jersey area and have been refinishing bathtubs since 1989. Bathtub Refinishing is a cost-effective way to beautify your bathroom. No messy tub, fixture or plumbing replacement necessary! The Process, Usually consisting of one full day, is as follows: First, all old caulking is removed. The tub is then completely scraped clean of all soap scum and dirt residue. It is then "etched", or "acid washed" to remove any shine that may remain. The tub is then thoroughly heat-dried.
