Our extensive capabilities with Computer Aided Design allow us to tailor the amount and kind of drawings we present to the needs of the individual client. Some people are very comfortable with two dimensional plans, elevations, sections and details (the traditional design package) and need nothing more to be able to visualize the changes we propose to make to their homes. Other people may need some additional perspective views. Still others may want or need colored perspectives or even photo-realistic renderings.

We have used Common Vision for several projects in our 105 year old house. They built bookcases to flank our fireplace and managed to match the original woodwork in the house. They constructed storm windows for our French doors. They built our deck and remodeled our master bathroom. They are professional beyond compare. All of their workers are polite and very skilled. Wherever they are working is left clean when they leave. We are so pleased that we can recommend Common Vision to others!

I want to note up front that I haven't used them as a contractor. I tried to, but after spending ~10 minutes each time talking to an employee, they promised to call me back about my project and then never did! Is the economy so bad they don't need work? Couldn't they just say they're too busy to take on my small project (adding on a half bath?)

As far as we're concerned, Common Vision is the best general contractor in the area for home improvements. In addition to doing great quality work themselves, Common Vision has a large network of subcontractors for every specialty, and contacts with all the local sources for material needed for a project.
