I actually work in a kitchen & Bath showroom in San Jose Ca, I call David for many needs. His knowledge is phenomenal, his service unsurpassed, the clients who come to this showroom will be in the best hands.

My husband and I came here when we were renovating our kitchen and bathroom. We walked in completely lost and did not know where to start. They made the process very easy and the quality of the options and designs were excellent. We outfitted our entire spa bathroom and got all of our kitchen hardware. They helped me pick and plan everything. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Home and Stone.

Wish there was a negative star to give. Denied taking order. Refused to return deposit. Needed to contact attorneys. A disaster. Do yourself a favor & stay away.

Always the best customer service. Great ideas for our new home and renovation. And they always stand behind their products and do the right thing for their customers

The reason why I gave a 5 star rating was I found them to be very helpful, they had a great selection and the lady who help us, Mrs England, I found that she had great ideas for us and that it fit with our budget. Thank you for making me feel at home

So far I went in and spent an hour (maybe more) deciding on a variety of options for door knobs and cabinet knobs. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and did not seem to be annoyed in the least by my countless questions. They also have a lot of options. I will update my post once I place my order.

Worked with Stu. He quickly picked up on my style and aesthetic and helped me pick all the items that I needed in a very timely manner. It can be be a bit overwhelming due to the amount of beautiful high end things the store carries. But Stu made it all way less stressful. An overall great experience! Thanks, Stu!

I've been exhausting my search for faucets and hardware, visiting our local places in Maryland. We finally found what we wanted, but it was very expensive through our local store. Online prices through H&S were too good to be true, but I visited the manufacturer website that listed H&S as an authorized retailer. Spending thousands and ordering blindly through the internet made me a little uneasy.

I decided to call and make sure I had everything I needed. Not only did David walk me through the order and make sure I had the components I needed, I was able to get even better pricing. He was awesome and very easy to work with. I saved so much money going through H&S. The timeline for delivery will be a while since they are made to order due to the finish (this is to be expected for any higher end faucet/hardware), but David says he will make sure we get the rough in valves so our contractors can start. I'll keep you posted on how delivery goes, but so far, I give David and H&S 5 stars!

I agree with the reviewer who found Home & Stone initially five-star but the second time around not so. For several months and over many hours, I dealt with Adina, who helped me select all fittings for two bathrooms and a kitchen (sinks, toilets, tub, faucets, valves, etc.). She made spending $20,000 easy. I then dealt with Donald to purchase all of the door hardware for another $1,000.all signed, sealed and delivered.

When I realized that there was an issue with the tub, a $1500 item, I made an appointment and went in to the showroom to discuss it with Adina. She immediately called over someone I'd never met, Sol, who stone-walled the issue and told me that the tub would be useless to them. After all the months I'd dealt with Adina and all the money I spent at Home & Stone I was deeply disappointed that 1) she called in an unknown "heavy" to respond when there was an issue with a product they'd sold me and 2) their famous customer service and support only applies if you are spending money, not if there is a problem.

I had intended to purchase vanities and bathroom accessories from them but that did not matter to them. That lost business totaled far more than the cost of the tub. While I was there, Adina got a call from someone who was purchasing 50 bathtubs! Someone who spends $20,000 at Home & Stone must count for nothing. Yet, when it comes to making good on a $1500 item, they refuse. Very, very tacky and cheap! Fredda P.

Our first time at Home and Stone was a five star experience. However, this time around with the same sales person David, was a nightmare. He quoted us wrong prices. Submitted the wrong order and then refused to acknowledge his error and exchange the merchandise. I am very disappointed in this experience. We are all only human and we had a lengthy discussion about the bathroom faucet we selected.

The error was on his part. This is not a proper way to treat returning customers or any customer for that matter. I can no longer recommend this business to anyone. What a nightmare!

We toured this showroom this past weekend and it was impressive. Renovating a bathroom or kitchen can be stressful and time consuming, but since it usually only happens every few decades or so, it has to be well planned, or there will be regret once you walk into your finished product on a daily basis. They had beautiful hardware and fixtures in a well designed storefront. There's nothing compared to seeing and feeling something in person if you're going to be investing thousands into your home.

We sat with someone to review the items we liked and although some of it was pricey, you get what you pay for. As a novice, it was helpful to discuss what stone was more durable and met our lifestyle. That's not something you'll usually find in Home Depot or Lowes.

The whole experience could not have been better. Purchased Blu Bathworks items to fully equip three bathrooms, all done over the phone without any miscommunication. David Fogel was a great listener and communicator. I was drawn to Home & Stone because of their pricing, but they then made it even better by storing everything until I needed it, and delivering it at no additional cost. Once again, the experience could not have been better.

Bought fixtures and glass sink from Sammy. Could not have been more helpful. We came in to buy THG fixtures for sink which cost thousands just for the sink fixtures. Sammy gave us other options that cost a good deal but not as much as THG. Rarely do you find salesman who steers you to less expensive. Very helpful. Going back to do master bath.

Great place if you redesigning your bathroom (or building new one!) - one stop shop for every hi-end fixture and decor, from Duravit and Totos to MTI or tile and stone. If you not sure about something, they will help you with your selection. We did get some delays when coordinating large order from different manufacturers - which is quite understandable, but on the end everything came out beautiful.

Looking for fixtures for my bathroom remodel last year, a friend told me about Home & Stone - she said the prices were better than I would find for the same products at any of the big box stores or online. And she was right! I got everything, including a Kohler bathtub, Duravit sink, Grohe fixtures AND my marble tiles from Home & Stone and paid much less than I thought possible. Adina (for the fixtures) and Jerry (for the tile) were wonderful to work with. So, when we finished the bathroom and moved on to the kitchen, I got everything I could at Home & Stone again.

And when we ran out of backsplash tiles (because I didn't like the tiling work done and had the backsplash ripped out, which broke a number of the tiles), Jerry was again amazing to work with. Rather than having to buy a whole box of tiles, he's shipping me a number of extra, which is amazing. I would not hesitate to use them again (and again)!

On January 1, 2013, my husband and I went to Home & Stone to look at their selection of bathroom mirrors. When we entered the store we were given a sales assistant name Rachel to help us with our search. We selected Kimball & Young Square Double Arm Wall Mirror. We asked Rachel to tell us the price of the mirror since a price was listed on the mirror or on any items throughout the store. Rachel told us that she had to step away to check the catalog for the price and she later returned stating that the mirror was $300 but she would give it to us for $250 as a discount.

I asked Rachel if that was the best price and she stated that she asked her supervisor and that was the best price she could give us. I asked to personally speak to her supervisor. I had to wait for the supervisor (at this point we were in the store for about 30 minutes) because she was taking care of another customer. Once the supervisor became available, I explained to her that Rachel told me that the mirror was $300 and she would give it to me for $250.

The supervisor then turned to me and asked me in front of Rachel who told me that the mirror was $300 and I responded Rachel. Rachel then stated that she thought the mirror was $300. The supervisor and Rachel looked at each other with a smirk on their faces and this is when I became suspicious of the price I was being given by Rachel. I once again questioned the supervisor if the price Rachel gave me was correct and the supervisor stated that if Rachel told me that the price was $250 then the price was correct.

I then asked Rachel to write the price of the mirror on her business card and she wrote $250. Later that night, I went home and did some research. My research revealed that the mirror Rachel quoted me at $250 really cost $164.90 on the company's website, a difference of $85.10 and a markup of over 50 percent when I came in the store. The next day I made an appointment to speak with Sammy, the manager to show him the print out I got off the website stating the lower price of the mirror.

I even called the store the next day and got a quote from Mindy for $164.90 for the same mirror Rachel quoted me $250 in store the previous day. I asked manager several questions for which he had no answers for: Why would an employee not check the catalog before giving a customer the correct price for a product? Is it customary for your employee to give out random prices?

Why would an employee take the time to write the wrong price on her business card and not take the time to look in the catalog for the correct price? If you want a great deal and honest workers, I do not think this is a place to shop.

Worked with David. He was very responsive over email, bore with us through a lengthy picking out process, and got us great prices! Their showroom in Brooklyn is great - lots of modern items not found at typical big box stores - and convenient weekend hours. Bought an entire bathroom and are very pleased. Shipping time was in line with what David quoted us as well.

I would give them no stars if I could. Placed an order online from them last week, didnt hear anything for days so I left them two voicemails. Again, no response. I emailed them and finally someone named "Joe" replied back saying that the manufacturer discontinued the item. Um.okay, so why didnt anyone call and let me know. He emailed me back a black and white xeroxed faded photo of what the manufacturer now offers except that it was the wrong sized vanity I was looking for!

When I called to speak with him, he was extremely rude and cut me off. I told him to cancel my order which he agreed to do. Stated he would send me a cancellation/refund confirmation and I didnt get it until I again had to email and ask for it. Terrible customer service, I ended up calling discount bathroom vanities who were wayyy nicer and were able to sell me the same vanity that was supposedly discontinued!

We bought from them a good list of Hansgrohe faucets and accessories. We were looking for a Internet Store and liked the fact that they have a showroom - basically a real store and a not a reconverted garage. We found their prices to be unbeatable and had a good interaction with the sales folks over the phone. They had Hansgrohe ship directly to us and the only drawback is that you have to call them to get a tracking number and we also received multiple packages (some items were back ordered).

We also had one item with a discoloration and went through their RMA process. No problem again, it took a little while to receive the replacement but nothing incredible. We have since bought a few more items and again had a good experience. Still if you want good prices on Hansgrohe, better plan ahead but for us it allowed to get something better for our budget.
