Innovative Closet Designs

My old closet guy sadly retired and sold his business to Innovative and introduced me to Shak. I already had measurements, pricing and plans for 2 closets. Spoke with Shak on the phone about adding more drawers, aka more money and we even talked about how materials pricing has increased and I acknowledged. Then no response for weeks. I emailed 3 times.

I called twice. I'm literally begging to give this company a few thousand $ to install closets, when all the measurements and design/planning have already been done. 5 weeks later still no answer. I can't imagine the service you'd get once you already give this company your money if this is how hard it is to get a new quote. We have little kids so was hoping to NOT start from scratch with getting new contractors in for quotes and new measurements but it seems we'll have to.

I will update my review if we ever get a call back with some kind of explanation and/or resolution. EDIT: made the mistake of giving them a second chance and allowing Shak to come back for a final quote adjustment. I emailed to say we are moving forward and asked when they are available to install. 18 days later, no response. The guy wasted his time coming back to our house and then AGAIN threw away $3k I was ready to hand over. Freaking unbelievable. Edit: I am a glutton for punishment as I tried contacting the owner as a last resort, and he apologized and got us on the schedule.

It still took a few months but I'll chalk that up to typical contractor backup and supply issues. At the end of the day, prices were higher than original closet co, but the end result was still good. I mean not much to complain about custom closets with for the kids. Just be very very patient and diligent with staying on them.

Requested master closet renovation and new glass shower door. The price for the closet was very fair and the work was completed in a timely manner. It is exactly what we had in mind. The shower door is also more than satisfactory. I highly recommend.

I have known of Innovative Closet Designs for many years as I see their trucks all the time in and around the town I live in and up and down Rt 287. When it came time for my house renovation, we had many choices for closets and received numerous quotes for our master walk-in. But the best for us was Innovative Closet. This is a locally sourced business, taking your measurements, designing, quoting, fabricating in Wyckoff, and sending out the professional installers from the same location. Our overall experience with Innovative Closet Designs is a five plus!

Excellent job. ICD replaced the nasty old silicone seal surrounding the master bath neo-angle glass shower enclosure, and returned to fix a leak near one of the stabilizing clips holding a panel in place. Responsive, good service and well-managed business. Recommended.
