TLDR: would highly recommend working with Kerrock, they were communicative, punctual, experienced, and respectful. True masters of their crafts. I solicited and discussed quotes with several shops in the South Bay but Marko set Kerrock apart as he was informative, patient, and reasonable from the get go. He spent the extra time to detail the work required, what is and is not included in the quote provided, and even recommended material that would be suitable for my budget and needs. George and the team at Kerrock executed the countertop prep, installation, and plumbing perfectly.
You can tell they've been in this business for decades and are constantly thinking 2 steps ahead. For example, my undermounted, workstation sink has a cutting board that needs to clear the counter top in order to sit on the built in ledge. While at the unit, George unboxed the sink and went through each accessory (cutting board, dish rack, drying mat, etc.) to understand their function and design.
When he understood the cutting board would need to pass the quartz, that was the only accessory he took with him back to the shop. Thanks to things like this and the template he made, my plywood, quartz, and undermount sink all fit like a glove. When it came to plumbing, him and his team worked their magic assembling and installing my unconventional sink with weighted pulley system and side drain as well as connecting the dishwasher gap to the side of my choice (which wasn't easy considering there wasn't much space to work with the new disposal down there too). Also, special shout out to Tiko who installed my tile backsplash.
He could not have made the install process any easier or worry free for me. He showed up, scouted a spot to set up his tile cutter and workstation, discussed details/expectations, measured to center the tiles, and then took his time looking and picking the right tile to install next as they are slightly varied in color. The quote provided was accurate and I appreciated that although my sink install took extra time, the additional time was not considered an additional bill.
They did have to remove, reinstall and repair some of the old plumbing in the wall, which, unsurprisingly, was not part of the original quote. Marko and George both set realistic expectations and the additional price was reasonable. The experience and foresight demonstrated by everyone on the Kerrock team is why I am beyond pleased with the entire process of working with Kerrock.

They aren't the cheapest, but they are VERY GOOD. Zero regrets, good speed on the project, and we love the finished product. We kicked off our discussion with Marko at Kerrock in late October 2021 to redo our kitchen countertops in Los Gatos. Marko helped me get my head around the material options (we went for engineered stone due to appearance, durability, size of slabs we could get, lack of maintenance).
I went home and drew up our kitchen layout and measurements and sent it back for an estimate. The estimate came back a day later and was substantially higher than one other I had gotten, but I could tell that the Kerrock folks would be paying a lot more attention to detail and all their finish products looked really tight and precise (they've done some work on big projects for exacting customers like Apple's new HQ).
We cook a lot and spend tons of time in our kitchen, so this was not something we wanted to take any gambles on. Our sink and faucet were not reusable, so I went through catalogs at Kerrock's office with Marko and picked out new ones that they ordered and brought on the day of the install. We green lit the project and 10 days later the Kerrock crew showed up to rip out our old countertops to take back to the shop to use as an exact template.
At the same time as the removal they put down the foundational plywood for the new ones, and spent a lot of time precisely leveling the cabinet tops. Living without a sink or cooktop for two weeks was painful, but obviously it's just part of what you endure on kitchen projects like these. Exactly two weeks to the day after the rip-out they showed up to do the install, which took about five hours.
The Kerrock guys cleaned up and went on their way leaving us with a completely new feel for our kitchen. It utterly transformed our space, and we could not be happier with the end result. From the edging to the seams to the leveling to the new plumbing, faucet and sink they installed.it was all on point, solid and gorgeous. Excellent craftsmanship. Again, they aren't the cheapest out there, but they deliver top quality results.
Our project took about 3.5 weeks from the estimate approval to finished install, which is definitely faster than I expected. We're happy we went with the best and didn't mess with the rest. :)

The design, demo and installation of our kitchen counter tops and backsplash could not have been better than what Marko and his staff did for us. Everything was exactly on schedule and perfectly executed; no fuss, no mess, no problems. The price was right. The materials were excellent. The Covid masking was greatly appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and inviting their office looks and feels. Marko explained to me the process and provided details about different options available for my project. I felt like I was talking to someone I knew for a long time. They know a lot about the specific of their business and trying their best to meet the customer's need.

We wanted our master bathroom's tile countertop replaced since we never liked it and wanted a solid surface like quartz or granite instead. I called a few contractors but most were hesitant to do the work, saying they were concerned our cabinets and/ or mirror may be damaged during demo. When I contacted Kerrock, I got a good feeling that George was very experienced with doing this work and would work carefully to reduce chances of damage to adjoining surfaces.
Everything turned out beautifully, with no damage to mirror or cabinets! We chose a gorgeous Quartz material he had there in remnants, and are so happy with it. Demo took 2 hours, and we were very appreciative of the care George and his helper took in protecting our floors and stairs. Two weeks later, the countertop install was completed in 2 hours. The quartz was installed with it's pattern perfectly continuing up the backsplash. Done to perfection! Highly recommend Kerrock, and George is a really nice guy too.

Marko and George really care about their customers and doing a quality job. The installed new granite countertops with new sinks/faucets in my kitchen and two wet bars, with no damage to existing cabinets. Also they tore down my ugly old brick fireplace and replaced it with stacked stone ledgers. They made sure to make everything look great with finishing touches at the end that other contractors would have not done. They were also very quick and did everything in two weeks from demo to final installation.

I had a somewhat unusual request--to pick up from my home and repair/refabricate two matching marble tabletops which had been damaged over time. Finally, I needed the tops reinstalled to the bases. It was a bit difficult to find someone who was willing to work outside the typical scope of a large kitchen counter installation. Marco completely understood our request and provided guidance along the way. His installers are great. Very professional.

We needed to replace a cracked bathroom countertop. After reading the positive reviews, I decided a small, local, family-run business was the way to go. Marko, George and Christina were professional, straightforward and responsive, and they inspired confidence that the the work would be done with exacting detail. The counter and the new sinks look great. They gave me a great price on an existing quartzite slab they had on site. I highly recommend Kerrock!

We had work done in March 2021 during COVID protocols. Great company to work with. Small family-run business that obviously know how to do a good job with countertop replacements and followed COVID safety with mask wearing. Down to earth, quick responses, and practical. We were replacing the tile countertops and sink and faucet in our home. We went with the solid surface with an integrated sink.
They pointed out some suggestions such as alerting us that we chose a really small sink which I appreciated as that wasn't what we wanted. We also added on the faucet install which enabled all the work to happen by Kerrock instead of needing to coordinate with multiple businesses. The sister of the family, Christina, answered our calls and e-mail questions and provided a clear estimate. George (one of the brothers) and another worker did the demo and install.
Other companies told us our project was too small or quoted us a much higher price with very little information. Demo: 3 hours total (plus they had to run to the store to get some plumbing piece because our water valve wasn't shutting off properly for them to disconnect the old faucet. They didn't have to do this and was not part of the plan. Contained the kitchen mess very well and cleaned up entirely.
Per our request they also left temporary plywood so we had a usable surface during the 2 weeks between demo and install. Install: 4.5 hrs, also cleaned up well. Our bar wasn't level so they leveled it prior to installing the new countertop. Overall great experience. So happy to support a local family-owned business that does their work well.

Hiring Kerrock for a kitchen countertop was a really pleasant experience. When I met George he carefully listened to what I was looking for hence he suggested the best design to implement my requests. He came to my house in the afternoon of the same day and provided an estimate, the price was better than others I got from other installers so I gave him green light and he promised to be at my house in seven days to do the job (he had to order material and parts); actually the job was done one day earlier than promised (six days) and I have to say that he made me very happy.
Everything went nice and smooth, his crew was very professional and highly skilled. A big plus was the fact that all the crew members complied with the CDC guidelines to prevent the Covid19 spread while working inside and outside the house. Would I hire again Kerrock? Definitely I will for all my future needs. Marco

Marco and the team at Kerrock Countertops did a great job on my kitchen. They provided good recommendations including taking the backsplash all the way up behind the sink. The new quartz looks great. They also did a great job on a new tub surround in Corian. The whole operation took only 2 weeks. I appreciate that they did almost all the cutting in the shop, and final cuts out in the parking lot, so there was no dust inside my unit. Thanks!

Hired Kerrock to do a small countertop in our laundry room, and am very happy with the outcome. Counter looks beautiful, and they did a nice job dealing with a small irregularity with our sink, thereby making the issue invisible to the naked eye. Not necessarily the least expensive quote I got, but I got a good vibe from these guys, so I decided to go with them anyway. Overall a very good experience, and I would definitely hire them again.

I did a research to find a good place to replace my bathroom countertop. I finally decided on Kerrock Countertops. I went to the showroom, and Marko helped me selected a nice looking Quartz stone and Christian helped me select the bowl. three days later, the installer Alonso come to the house to install it. It was amazing to me how careful how meticulously the installer did the job. I did not have to to do any repair or repainting! Now I have a beautiful bathroom countertop more than I expected! I might add the price is reasonable. Dan 10/10/2019

I first used Kerrock about five years ago. The kitchen was relatively simple and they did a good job, but I didn't write a review at the time. I was satisfied enough with their work to use them again, this time on a larger kitchen with a more complex layout. The previous time I used quartz countertops, which are a composite material and had a more predictable pattern.
This time, I used a natural stone, meaning I needed three separate slabs to get adjoining areas to line up on a very long countertop since the pattern wasn't consistent from one side of the stone to the other. Due to idiosyncrasies or my highly customized cabinet designs, extra care was needed since there was almost no play with respect to the location of the sink and the cooktop.
When the final pieces were ready, everything was cut perfectly to account for my needs. George was very meticulous coming up with templates in my home that covered the exact areas where the countertops would sit. Prior to starting fabrication of the sections, George and Marko invited me to the factory to lay out the templates on the actual slabs of stone.
That way I could pick which sections would go where depending on which parts of the pattern I thought would look best in a given area, since the grain of the stone will be different in each part. From there, they were able to match up the sections and show me how each part would be used. The installation was meticulous and everything was perfect down to the last detail.

I hired George, Marko and their incredible team at Kerrock Countertops for a fairly large project in our kitchen, family room and a few other areas throughout our house. The results were nothing short of AMAZING! George, Marko and Christina were professional, responsive and true partners with me throughout the project. As cheesy as it sounds, they took our somewhat complex vision and truly brought it to life.
The quality and precision of their work as well as their attention to detail make for outstanding results. Since I opted to manage our renovation myself and not hire a GC, I interacted with George almost daily. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. In addition, Kerrock's pricing is extremely competitive and their turnaround time is FAST. I highly recommend reaching out to them for your next project.
In terms of the scope of our project, Kerrock started out by doing the demo, removal and clean up of all of the existing granite and tile throughout our house. Once the templating was complete, and it came time to work with the Cambria quartz we selected, they were not pleased with the quality of the slabs that were delivered to their warehouse. George immediately let me know and recommended we go with Caesarstone (Pure White & Concrete) instead.
We followed his suggestion and couldn't be happier with the product. The most complicated part of our kitchen project was the quartz for our island, which includes a 5'x6' raised section that waterfalls down to a 4'x6' kitchen table that waterfalls down to the floor. I wanted to ensure that the kitchen table portion of our island would not have any cabinets or any legs underneath it.
So George and his team created large metal brackets running under the length of the table that adequately support the weight of the quartz. This was no easy feat and it was George and Marko's meticulous attention to detail that got it done. The island turned out exactly how I envisioned and I could not be happier! John from their team installed our carrara marble subway tile backsplash and we couldn't be more pleased.
Our backsplash is beautiful and we get a ton of compliments on it. Another large part of our project was opening up our family room wall to remove the existing fireplace hearth and support from inside the walls and installing a new floating fireplace bench/hearth. Once they removed the existing hearth, they did the new framing in the wall and attached custom fabricated metal supports to the studs.
Our new marble floating bench sits on these metal supports. We can rest assured that the floating bench is thoroughly supported and is NOT going anywhere! Long story short, I am extremely happy with Kerrock Countertops and the work they did in our home. We will absolutely be working with them again on future projects. I have no hesitations in recommending them!

My kitchen is a original kitchen from the 1960s. Last October, my sink was leaking badly. I decided it was time to replace the countertop along with a new sink and cooktop. A friend referred us to check out Kerrock. My wife sent the dimensions and photos though their website. It took a day or two to get back the quote. Price was very reasonable. We make appointment to check out the slab. Overall, the staff was very helpful and friendly, after checking out some more samples.
We decided to go with Quartz (Cambria Whitney) which was within our budget. Only one condition, we must have the cooktop and sink ready in order to make the template. It was a reasonable request. I put down 50% deposit in order to reserve the slab. Unfortunately, the slab was not in stock at that time; I had to wait 3 weeks. Turns out, the handcraft kitchen sink (Julien) took one month to arrive.
The Wolf induction cooktop was in stock the week after the sink arrived. By Mid-December, everything was ready. Karrock came to make a template, it took about 2 hrs. The countertop was ready right after the New Year. Although I didn't have a brand new kitchen counter for holidays, it was totally worth to wait. The demolition and installation was fast, finished within a day.
The work was way beyond my expectations. The slab finish was so beautiful, a photo can't show the sparkling effects. We was so thankful Karrock and their staff. We love our new kitchen so much.

Recently I updated my custom kitchen counters from tile to quartz. The crew from Kerrock were wonderful! They worked patiently with me while I came to decisions about removing the custom tile counters and backsplashes and made good recommendations about design details when changing to quartz. I used Cambria Windermere and I couldn't be happier with the result! Kerrock created a custom template for my 25.5' of counters.
They also accomodated my wish to add counter eating/seating area. Quartz could handle the additional 'overhang' of material (for my specific job) without requiring metal lining support or bulky pieces from the cabinets to the counters. It's a really clean look maximizing the potential of my island. Please do consider using Kerrock. They are a family run company that has all of the tools and skills you need to get the best result in your kitchen or bathrooms.

The Kerrock guys are great! They did my parents kitchen a little over 10 years ago, still looks like new! The past year they helped with the remodel of our master bath and it turned out beautiful. What is nice about them is that their prices are reasonable, they come on time, they are friendly and they are constantly cleaning up after themselves, so every day before they leave, they spend a good 20-30 minutes sweeping/dusitng etc. It was great. With the solid surface its so easy to clean, especially with two young kids - and it looks great too. I am so glad we chose them!
