Team Remodeling & Construction

We've engaged Team Remodeling for two bathroom remodel projects, and have been quite happy with the results. We have referred Team Remodeling to friends and neighbors; they've been happy too. We got four bids on our first bathroom remodeling project. All four contractors (including Team) responded with an identical list of local vendors for plumbing fixtures, counters & tile, and electricals.

Only Pini at Team volunteered to accompany us to the vendors to pick out these items, provide his discount, and assure us that the materials would all work in harmony with the cabinets they'd make (and during one project they made good on this when a set of sinks turned out to be too deep for the counter depth). Team's bid also came out substantially lower than the other contractors.

We particularly liked their process. They don't start demolition until all (ALL!) materials are on hand, and then they don't stop until the job is complete. This really minimizes disruption, and gets the job done very efficiently.

TEAM REMODEL can be described in one word: INTEGRITY. First time I ever worked with a contractor who quoted me one price and that was the one price I paid. No hidden, additional, whoops charges. They don't begin the job unless they can finish the job, no waiting for parts, etc. to come in. They do not demolish until all components are in their possession so that once the project is begun they work each weekday until completion.

Everyone on the team is pleasant and well versed in their craft. Last year they remodeled the guest bathroom, and they are about to begin remodeling our master. bathroom. Go TEAM Remodel!

If I could give this company negative score I would! AVOID them at any cost. We do remodeling work and due to the current market most of our contractors were busy and we only needed help with a small powder room project. So, we decided to go with this company. Pini tells you something upfront, but everything changes the moment you sign a contract.

We knew exactly what we wanted to do for this project and even shown him a 3D modem at the beginning. I can't tell you enough how he brings excuses left and right to delay the job. He tells you that the fact that he shows up on the job site and check quality of the work is a favor that he is doing. But guess what?! That's what you are required to do as a licensed contractor!

Last call we had with him, he said he is not going to start the project until the next 6 weeks, because the faucet, WHICH HE TOOK US TO THE STORE TO ORDER, was not going to be delivered before then! When my husband and I told him that faucet is the last piece that needs to be installed and if that is the reason he is holding the project we can go with another option that is in stock!

Then he started yelling at us. Please please avoid this company! There are lots of other companies in the area that you can work with, which charge much less and are more respectful of the costumer. I don't mind sharing our experience in more detail with anyone who is slightly considering hiring this contractor.

Team Remodeling led by Yigal did a fantastic job on our kitchen. They helped design everything in our kitchen from scratch. They built all of our cabinets accurately according to our specs and did not start demolition until the cabinets were built and all appliances were delivered. As a result, the job was completed professionally, appropriately and with as little discomfort as possible in 5 weeks from the start of demolition.

Even when the unexpected occurred, they handled it with no problem. Changes, and charges were never an issue. Everything was discussed and reasonably handled. This is our 5th major construction project. Yigal and his staff are by far the best people that we have worked with. We will use them again when it is time to remodel our bathrooms.

Thanks to Pini and his crew at TEAM REMODELING, we have the master bathroom of our dreams. which makes us feel like we are living in an expensive hotel. We had used TEAM REMODELING four years ago to remodel our kitchen and put hardwood flooring in our downstairs. We absolutely love our kitchen, so when it came time to re-do our Master Bathroom and the second floor hardwood flooring, we did not hesitate to call Pini.

We explained what we'd like done. Pini said it would take about 5 to 6 weeks. His TEAM of workers, Jose, Roger, Dylan, and Manuel, worked tirelessly six days a week and the job was beautifully completed in 4 weeks. They are each expert craftsmen and take pride in their work. Manuel, like an artist, painstakingly put our intricate tile floor down, cutting tiny pieces to fill in each small space.

The quality of their work is top notch and if there was any issue, Pini quickly resolved it, no questions asked. We are so happy with the outcome of our remodel. My husband is enamored with our new shower, which he refers to as "A Human Carwash". We highly recommend Pini and TEAM REMODELING.

Big Shout Out for Team Remodeling & Construction. Pini and his talented team including Rodger, Dylan and Jose just completed the most beautiful transformation of my mother's master bathroom in Dos Vientos. The shower/tub combo was replaced with a gorgeous walk-in shower with decorative safety bars, handheld and traditional shower heads. The dual sink countertop was replaced using quartz, new sinks and fixtures. Pini is the owner of Team Remodeling and was delightful to work with. He's very kind, quick to respond to calls, shops for all materials with his clients to pass along his contractor's discount, does not use subcontractors and visits the job site everyday. His team has been with him for decades and they are as nice as they are talented.

Team Remodeling & Construction, Inc. is very highly recommended by many homeowners in the Conejo Valley. Our contractor, Pini, is a man of his word, professional, trustworthy and highly regarded in the community. He remodeled our entire house and finished it in half the time other contractors had promised us and what tops it all, he encouraged us to stay home during construction not to incur extra rental and restaurant expenses and the project was done without much of disturbance.

He has his own workers, they are extremely focused on their project and they provide you with meticulous work. Pini patiently helped us shop for our fixtures, tiles, appliances and all materials needed for the project and always gave us his honest advice. He was never hesitant to spend the longest hours with us while shopping and we never felt rushed. Pini is always accessible for any question, or should an issue arise during the remodel.

We highly recommend Pini. His estimates are very reasonable for the quality of work he provides and for his endless services. By the end of the project, we felt we owe the company.

This is long overdue. I usually do not write reviews, but I feel Team remodeling & Construction, Inc. deserves my review for the outstanding job they performed. The contractor, Pini, remodeled our entire house. Pini, is brilliant, trustworthy, attentive and has a clear vision to detail. He designed out kitchen and bathrooms which saved us money from hiring a designer.

He has his own workers. They worked hard day after day with enthusiasm and they showed up daily to work. Due to his expertise and to his workers' the project was executed smoothly with speed and diligence. Most importantly their honesty was noticed, and they made us live comfortably in our house during construction. Pini, is a man of integrity, and his word is his bond. Pini, worked tirelessly with us shopping for our fixtures, appliances, floorings and everything else needed for the remodel and we received his contractor's discount.

Team remodeling is also well known for their cabinet craftsmanship and they also provide all kinds of quartz samples, closet doors, handles and knobs which makes it more convenient to customers. We were thrilled with the outcome of the project.

Yigal with Team Remodeling just did a bathroom remodel for us. It turned out amazing! I could not be happier. Everything he said happened. Finished right on time, and on budget. Yigal and his team are amazing! He did my kitchen and bathrooms a few years ago, and still is there for me when I need him. His work is excellent and he is an honest man who always gives a fair price and always does a great job!

Yigal knows what he is doing! Team Remodeling replaced our sliding glass door and adding one as well. I decided to get an estimate from Yigal for the doors, his team did the kitchen in our house and it's our favorite room. By the way, his kitchen cabinets are made extremely well and the finish is amazingly durable. The reason I bring up the kitchen is that it had a large picture/bay window which I was nervous about replacing because it would require breaking the exterior stucco, unable to be retrofit.

The guys at Team matched the stucco so well you would think the window was original to the house. So, when it was time for doors, I wanted them done well so I called Yigal, he does it right using the nail in method. It is a bit more money and quite a mess to do the nail-in over the retrofit doors/windows but worth it visually and for overall longevity. Pricing: Yigal's estimate and final price were exactly the same. Zion is great with electrical and made my life super easy by picking up the light fixtures, switches and wall outlets.

Just tell him what you would like and he makes it work! We love our USB outlets! The other window and door places I contacted could only do a piece of the job, so I would need multiple people at different times to complete the job. Team did it all, interior, exterior, drywall patches, stucco matching, knockdown texture, painting and haul away all the old stuff. Looking back, I feel using Team Remodeling saved us time and maybe even some money over other options we were considering for both the kitchen and the definitely the doors. Wish I had the funds to set them loose on the whole rest of the house, but hopefully a bathroom in the future for now.

Excellent custom cabinet service. High quality, full service cabinets and home remodeling. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Team Remodeling is really great to work with -Yigal and Zion make sure that everything is done the way you want it done. Yigal went shopping with me to pick out plumbing supplies and worked with my designer (my best friend) from Phoenix to create the exact bathroom that we had envisioned last year when she was here visiting. We spoke by phone and did FaceTime.

She was very confident with the team who would work on it locally after all of our conversations. This was such a relief for me because I wouldn't know what to pick out. Yigal reassured me all along that it would look the way we wanted it to look. Zion oversees the day to day operations of the crew who were all very polite and hard-working, especially Armando the tile man who had to work with me and my crazy design for the shower.

He was very patient during the process. Salvador and Jose also worked consistently on the project. I was impressed with all of the team. We used their vendors which I was perfectly fine with since I knew that they would stand by the work and there was a contractors discount I believe. Both Yigal and Zion were available by text and kept me up to date on the three week transformation from an Old World look to a contemporary look for the bathroom.

I have also used Team Remodeling for smaller jobs like replacing the hood above my stove, installing a microwave and updating some trim work in the house. I definitely would recommend them and use them for any of my future projects.

We recently had our Kitchen and Family remodeled completely by Team Remodeling and Construction in Newbury Park. The process started with a visit by Pini. Then a 3D drawing presentation at his office, shopping with one of the owners, Pini. The cabinets are all produced at their facility, painted and clear coated. Once the materials were in, the demo starts.

The only day they don't work is Sunday. The whole process took a little more than 3 1/2 weeks. Pini and/or his Foreman, Zion come by everyday to make sure things are on track. Even with a mix up with the paint color on the cabinets, which only added two days since they are in control of the cabinets, the job went smoothly. Past jobs we had were slow and lacked communication.

You will never experience that with Team Construction. You will also experience every team member that reports to work are ready to go with plans that stay at the site so there is no confusion. If for any reason you have an issue with the project, Pini will make sure it is resolved quickly! Pini and his crew will be starting the rest of the house soon. Pini and Yigal did a great job on our kitchen and family room. They helped design, and made it easy for us to get through the construction. The crew cleaned up always and were always very nice to work with. We will definitely use them again for our next projectQ

I cannot say enough good things about Pini and his crew at TEAM Remodeling. I've had a couple of really bad experiences with contractors in the past, so when it came time for me to start my bathroom model, I have to be honest, I was filled with dread and suspicion. Right from the start, Pini was a true professional.he listened, recommended but never pushed, and had the patience of a saint.

The quote he gave me was fair and thorough, and from the moment I got the call that they were going to begin the demolition, his crew showed up every day, on time, with great attitudes (they CLEARLY love what they do, and who they do it for, which speaks volumes). Every day they arrived on time, worked hard, and they cleaned up beautifully at the end of each day. Pini responded to me any day time of day or night, 7 days a week (which I certainly didn't expect him to do, but he did).

My bathroom is complete, and even though he received the final payment, I had requested a couple of adjustments (like the hand towel holder moved), and he had someone there within 2 hours.again, with a great attitude. I am beyond happy.not only was the project completed a few days ahead of schedule, but there were no hidden costs. Thank you to Pini and his entire crew for the beautiful bathroom, and for making this project painless. I would never consider hiring anybody else for future projects. Cheers!

My wife and I had Team Remodeling remodel our master bath. We were so happy with the results that they we are having them back to remodel another bathroom. They have a very talented group of in house craftsman that clearly worked as if they were working on their own house. We are very happy customers that won't hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone.

Not sure where to begin, cannot say enough from quality of work to one on one care. Yigal and his team work with the best and even the special discounts at some of the vendors we worked with he passed the savings on to me allowing us to stay on budget, He knows his work, made good advice on things that would have cost a lot more and would have been a mistake down the road.

Most important: He actually makes and manufactures high quality cabinetry where as others I spoke with used prefabricated presized cabinets then fit them into the space. Many contractors use his work which is beautiful. A large showroom where they are also built allows you to pick tons of color, decor, size, etc. And Yigal is a good guy, local family person and very talented. Comes highly recommended!

I can't say enough about the level of great service these guys provide. From start to finish, they truly care about your satisfaction. When I had a question they were always prompt to get back to me and kept me informed throughout the process. My entertainment center came out even better than I had imagined, thanks to the A Team! I'll be back with another project soon.

This contractor remodeled our bathroom and vanity area in August. Although the finished product looks good, we had a problem about a month after the work was completed with the grout being discolored in the shower. We contacted the contractor and he said it wasn't an important problem to worry with. We contacted him a few weeks later and sent him a photo of the grout.

He still said it wasn't important but to check back with him after the first of the year. After we spent so much money on this project, he couldn't bother to even come out and look at the problem! Finally, my husband tried one more time to ask the contractor to deal with the grout issue and he said "I'm not going to deal with this!" This was an inappropriate response to a customer, regardless of how minor he thought it was.

We will not use or recommend him to anyone because of this poor customer service attitude. We ended up paying a grout company to fix this problem, which wasn't minor at all.

I would stay far away from this company. If you decide to get an estimate you'll probably meet with a guy named Pini. He will talk a hundred miles an hour and promise you a lot of things. He will barely let you tell him what you want and will just talk over you. He will say this is my kitchen in your house and I will always take care of it. This is far from true.

We had a new kitchen built and he did a lot of other work in our house. We've lived with this for 9 years until we couldn't take it anymore. The crown molding in the kitchen doesn't meet and is filled with ugly filler, the varnish began coming off within months and we're just two people with no kids and are extremely careful. He promised to take care of it and when he didn't I asked him when he would fix it and he said he decided not to. That's just rude to say the least. I'm by far not the only one suckered in by his talk in my neighborhood alone.

We know of other homes who've used them and they are all having remodels done. This is certainly not a company I'd trust. We were recently so desperate that we were going to pay them to try to make it decent but they said they wouldn't take the job. They know they're not good. I'm just so happy that we didn't make an already bad mistake worse by using them to fix their errors.

Team Remodeling just finished remodeling our downstairs bathroom, and did a fine job. Pini was there from the beginning, helping us to find the right materials for the job. We didn't mind using his vendors (some we were already familiar with). Contractor's discount was passed through to us. Once everything was on hand, they got going quickly and worked steadily, with no long absences.

We provided a sample of cabinet finish to match; the cabinet doors and drawer fronts look great. We were out of town for about a week when a new exterior door came in. Pini sent us photos of the installation while we were away. By the time we got home, the door was in, the stucco was restored and painted, and the locks and knobs replaced and functioning perfectly.

We had a couple of glitches along the way. A mis-measured granite countertop fabrication was the biggie; Team Remodeling accepted responsibility, acquired another pre-fab slab, and re-did the countertop at their expense. We enjoyed our interactions with the Team Remodeling workers. Nice guys! We plan to do one other bathroom next year, and will almost certainly have Team Remodeling do that one, too.

We just remodeled two of our bathrooms with Team Remodeling, and we are so happy! They completed our projects on time and on budget. Yigal was really fantastic to work with! He was always available and responsive and so very agreeable. He had suggestions but was never pushy. As I made changes, it never changed the price he quoted. I even had them take the accent tile in the shower down because I didn't like it when it was up (I had chosen the tile).

All Yigal said was "No problem, just pick the replacement tile you want, and we will take care of it." If you are considering a remodel, I highly recommend Yigal and Team Remodeling.

Team Remodeling recently finished a major remodel of the master bathroom of our home in Calabasas. My wife and I are extremely happy with their work, and feel very fortunate Team Remodeling was referred to us. It's obvious now why they came so highly referred. The end result is absolutely beautiful - and it's hard to imagine how getting there could have been better.

Every person on the team, from the co-owner Yigal (with whom we mostly dealt) on down, was extremely professional, responsive, skilled and polite (you're lucky to get one of those traits when dealing with a contractor's team; getting all four is pretty rare in my experience). The team worked on an uninterrupted basis, 6 days a week, from around 7:30am to 4:30pm.

The whole project took about 3 1/2 weeks, right in line with Yigal's estimate. In addition to demo and tile and construction workers, the team has plumbers and electricians on staff, so you don't experience any delays from them having to subcontract or find an outside plumber or electrician to come in. Yigal shopped with us in the beginning for all materials (tile, floor, granite, etc) and his team built a custom vanity for the bathroom.

We really appreciated his personal attention and great advice about what to buy, how to design, etc. And you might think all that service and attention would cost a fortune - but not so. Yigal's estimate was in line with the other 3 contractors we interviewed. Thank goodness we went with Team Remodeling. We intend to have them remodel our other bathrooms in the near future. I give them the strongest possible recommendation.

Team Remodeling, headed by Pini and Yigal, have a great remodeling and contracting company. We did our kitchen with them 2 years ago and every time I walk in I still wonder at how great it is. Besides, from when all materials were chosen and the cabinets were ready it only took them 13 working days to demo, move water, change electrical, and install all items to completion. Yes, 13 days.

All with smiles, great attitudes and cleanliness. We just completed our bar remodel. Same thing. Did all the work with a great attitude and it could not have come out better. I highly recommend Team Remodeling. They may not be the cheapest, but with the quality, attitude, quick pace, smiles and price there is no better value out there.

100% reliable people. Came in gave me an estimate. We agreed on the price and the timeline. They finished the job based on the budget we agreed on. 2 days before the deadline the project was done. The place was cleaned up and we could use the kitchen at the same day. Hard to find professional team in construction these days. A friend recommended them to me, and I never looked back. We recently did a project with team remodeling. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the two owners as well as the whole team that executed the project. One of the owners met me at the store to buy materials. When the materials came into stock at the store, team remodeling pick them up and promptly scheduled a time and date to begin work.

The team worked consecutive days to finish the project. They would arrive on time and work diligently throughout the day. When the project was finished there were a few areas that I wanted touched up with paint and perfected. The team came back and worked very hard to make the end product absolutely perfect and to my 100% satisfaction. I will definitely be working with team remodeling again.

I felt comfortable with their recommendations and more importantly, the quality of the end product. By the way, I visited their workshop in Newbury Park and had the opportunity to see cabinets and other furniture being made in their production process. The attention to detail with these projects was very impressive.
